Contestants from Premiere Dance, Auburn Music Center and independent entries around Sacramento came out to compete at the fifth anniversary contest.
The day's major winners were Angelina Salgado and Cameron Banghart with Overall High Score; Cameron Banghart, Skyler Hurkens, Kiana Schoonmaker and Hailey Rietz with Most Potential; Skyler Hurkens with Dancer of Year and Contestant Favorite; Samantha Slade with Singer of the Year and Melissa White with Photogenic Winner.
Showstopper Regional Dance Competition

Premiere Dance students and teachers came home with an impressive six gold trophies and three top overall trophies from the recent competition. Congratulations to our competitive dance team!
Angelina Salgado and Cameron Banghart took top honors with their tap duo 9 to 5.
Skyler Hurkens lights up the stage in her award winning jazz solo Hit Me with a Hot Note.
Teacher Melissa White took Gold with her high energy jazz solo Heartbreaker.
Cameron Banghart, Hailey Rietz, Kiana Schoonmaker and Skyler Hurkens had the crowd grooving with their jazz routine to Disco Inferno.
Ani Avdalyan, Courtney Banghart and Brianna Young were cute as a button in the jazz trio Won't You Charleston with Me?
Our competition team came together to finish the weekend with the colorful and fun Candyland production number.

Fourth of July Parade

This was the studio's fourth appearance in the annual parade. On hand were Miss Jen, Miss Leene and Miss April along with students Kiana Schoonmaker, Angelina Salgado, Skyler Hurkens, Kaitlynn Duffey, Cameron Banghart, Evie Waite, Shelby Mason, Piper Duffey and Courtney Banghart.
